A blessed feast to you!

Legis sacratae sanctis caeremoniis
subiectus omnis calamo Mosaico
dignatur esse, qui regit perfulgidos
in arce Patris ordines angelicos,
caelumque, terram fundavit ac maria.

By the holy rites of the sacred law
to the Mosaic rule, full subject
does he deign to be,
though he rules supreme
over the shining ranks
of the angels in his Father's realm,
though he is maker most high
of heavens, of land, of seas.
