Doctor Who, Season 4

Season 4 of the second series of Doctor Who is now airing on the SciFi Channel, currently featuring the 10th incarnation of The Doctor. From the first episode, entitled Voyage of the Damned:

Mr. Copper: So Great Britain is part of Europea and just across the British Channel you've got Great France and Great Germany?
The Doctor: No, no it's just France and Germany; only Britain is Great.
Mr. Copper: And they're all at war with the continent of Hamerica.
The Doctor: No, well, not yet. Ah, you could argue that one.

Which proves that for even for the distant, alien race of the Time Lords, Britain is still the center of the known universe.
