Back in town...

We just returned from a trip to Montgomery, AL to visit family. It dipped down pretty low in temperature while we were there, but we were able to see some interesting things around the city and surrounding area, including the F. Scott and Zelda Fitzgerald Museum, which is located in a house rented by the couple for a time during the 1930's in the Old Cloverdale area of Montgomery (not too far from Huntingdon College). Zelda Sayre Fitzgerald's family home in Montgomery was unfortunately demolished several years ago. We also paid a visit to Tuskegee University, as I had never visited the campus before.

This was my second visit back home since becoming Catholic. It's amazing how one's perspective can change... Things take on new meaning. I'll write more soon!
