Eucharistic Adoration at St. Mark's

I was very happy to discover recently that the new pastor of my former parish of St. Mark's in Isla Vista, CA, which is associated with UC Santa Barbara, has started offering regular Eucharistic exposition and adoration for the student community in a big way, including more opportunities for confession and concluding with Benediction!


This is quite a significant development. Absolutely awesome. I came upon that old monstrance they're using back in 2001 in the sacristy and, after I polished it up, I requested permission from the staff to start evenings of Eucharistic adoration with friends and others who wanted to join. We did this for two years, and for reasons that continue to frustrate me, we decided to stop, and I put the monstrance back in the cupboard where it remained for more years.
